Introducing the Pre-Owned Webley Tempest .177 Air Pistol, a classic in the realm of air pistols that combines everything a shooting enthusiast could desire: precision, reliability, and a touch of nostalgia. Manufactured by the renowned British gunmaker Webley, this spring-powered air pistol has gained a loyal following for its performance and ease of use, making it a perfect choice for both novice shooters and seasoned veterans. With its comfortable grip, robust craftsmanship, and impressive shooting capabilities, the Webley Tempest offers a rewarding experience for target practice, plinking, and collectability.

The Webley Tempest .177 Air Pistol is a time-tested model known for its exceptional quality and performance. Designed as a spring-powered air pistol, the Tempest delivers consistent shooting with each cycle. Unlike more complex air guns, this manual mechanism ensures simplicity while maintaining accuracy. The ease of use makes it ideal for beginners who are just starting to learn the art of shooting, while still providing seasoned shooters with the reliability and accuracy they crave.

With a shooting velocity of approximately 450 feet per second, the Webley Tempest strikes an impressive balance between power and control. This velocity makes it suitable for various shooting applications, whether you’re at the range, testing your skills against targets, or enjoying recreational plinking in your backyard. The .177 caliber allows for tight shot groupings, enabling users to refine their marksmanship with every shot.

Weighing around 1.1 kg, the Tempest feels solid in the hand without being cumbersome. Its length of 225 mm is perfectly suited for use in both indoor environments and outdoor settings, making it a versatile option for different shooting experiences. The 150 mm barrel is thoughtfully designed to enhance accuracy, ensuring that every pellet is delivered precisely where the shooter aims.

The single-stage trigger facilitates a straightforward shooting experience, allowing for a direct pull without complex adjustments. This design simplifies the shooting process for those who may be new to air pistols, helping them focus on mastering their technique rather than getting caught up in mechanical intricacies. The gun’s design encourages responsible shooting practices, as shooters can concentrate on their fundamentals and work towards their personal bests.

Safety remains paramount during shooting, and the Webley Tempest is equipped with a manual safety feature. This important element helps prevent accidental discharges, providing peace of mind when handling the air pistol. By allowing users to secure the trigger when not in use, Webley demonstrates their commitment to safe shooting practices.

One of the unique aspects of the Webley Tempest is its broad range of applications. This air pistol excels at target shooting, giving competitors a reliable option for practice sessions. Moreover, it serves well for casual plinking enthusiasts looking for a fun, engaging way to sharpen their shooting skills. Collectors will also appreciate the Tempest’s historical significance and classic design, making it a worthy addition to any collection of vintage air guns.

Purchasing a pre-owned Webley Tempest allows you to experience the quality and charm of a classic air pistol without the premium price tag associated with new models. Each pre-owned unit undergoes a thorough inspection to ensure that it meets Webley’s high standards of performance and dependability, delivering a reliable shooting experience that you can trust.

An RFD transfer involves contacting a gun shop /dealer near to where you live. We then undertake the necessary  paperwork to ensure it’s all legal.  We pack the item safely and send it via Parcel Force using a secure next day AM delivery.
There is normally a charge from the receiving gun shop but if you select our £35 delivery charge then we take care of the postage and all transfer costs etc.
There are companies that offer a nationwide delivery service by their own drivers, this service can work for some people but the named person who made the purchase will need to be at home to sign for the item at the time of delivery.
