Description

Detailed Overview:

The pre-owned Howa 1500 rifle with KRG Bravo chassis represents a formidable combination of Japanese engineering and modern ergonomics. This firearm offers shooters a highly accurate and customizable platform, ideal for long-range shooting enthusiasts and hunters alike

At the heart of this rifle is the Howa 1500 action, renowned for its reliability and precision. The action features a smooth 90-degree bolt throw and an M16-style extractor, ensuring consistent and dependable operation
The two-stage HACT (Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger) comes pre-set from the factory at a crisp 3-pound pull weight, providing a clean break and enhancing accuracy potential
The 24-inch heavy barrel, crafted from high-quality steel, offers an excellent balance between accuracy and manageable weight. This barrel length is particularly well-suited for the .308 Winchester cartridge, allowing for optimal velocity and energy retention at extended ranges
The muzzle is threaded, providing the option to attach suppressors or muzzle devices for recoil management and noise reduction
One of the standout features of this pre-owned rifle is the KRG Bravo chassis. This innovative stock system significantly enhances the rifle’s ergonomics and customization options. The Bravo chassis features a full-length aluminum backbone, ensuring rigidity and consistency shot after shot
The adjustable cheek riser and length of pull allow shooters to achieve a perfect fit, which is crucial for maintaining a consistent shooting position and maximizing accuracy
The forend of the KRG Bravo chassis is compatible with M-LOK accessories, offering versatility in mounting bipods, lights, or other attachments
This feature is particularly beneficial for hunters who need to adapt their setup to different hunting scenarios or long-range shooters looking to fine-tune their rifle’s balance. Chambered in .308 Winchester, this Howa 1500 is capable of excellent accuracy. While individual results may vary, many shooters report sub-MOA groups with quality ammunition
The .308 Winchester cartridge is a versatile choice, offering a good balance of power, accuracy, and manageable recoil. It’s equally at home on the target range or in the hunting field, capable of ethically taking medium to large game at reasonable distances. The rifle’s overall weight of approximately 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs) strikes a balance between stability for precision shooting and portability for field use. While it may be on the heavier side for extended backcountry hunts, the weight contributes to reduced felt recoil and improved shot-to-shot consistency, particularly beneficial in competitive shooting scenarios. For optics mounting, the rifle features a Picatinny rail, allowing for easy installation of a wide variety of scopes and other sighting systems. This flexibility enables shooters to tailor their setup to their specific needs, whether it’s a high-magnification scope for long-range target shooting or a more modest optic for hunting applications. As a pre-owned firearm, this Howa 1500 with KRG Bravo chassis offers excellent value. It combines the proven reliability of the Howa action with the modern ergonomics and customization options of the KRG chassis, all at a more accessible price point than a new rifle. The excellent condition of this second-hand item ensures that its new owner will enjoy many years of accurate and dependable service, whether at the range or in the field. In conclusion, this pre-owned Howa 1500 rifle with KRG Bravo chassis in .308 Winchester represents an outstanding option for shooters seeking a highly capable and customizable firearm. Its combination of accuracy, ergonomics, and versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of shooting disciplines, from long-range target shooting to hunting. As with any pre-owned firearm, potential buyers are encouraged to inspect the rifle thoroughly and take advantage of the opportunity to test it on our range before making a purchase decision.

We only post on Monday-Thursday to avoid delays of your parcel at a distribution depot.
If you make a private purchase then a transfer is not required by law, but it can take the hassle  out of packing and sending via a courier.
An RFD transfer involves contacting a gun shop /dealer near to where you live. We then undertake the necessary  paperwork to ensure it’s all legal.  We pack the item safely and send it via Parcel Force using a secure next day AM delivery.
There is normally a charge from the receiving gun shop but if you select our £35 delivery charge then we take care of the postage and all transfer costs etc.
There are companies that offer a nationwide delivery service by their own drivers, this service can work for some people but the named person who made the purchase will need to be at home to sign for the item at the time of delivery. If you use an RFD service then it will be kept safely at the receiving dealer until you have a convenient time to arrange a Collection.
