The BSA R12 is a highly regarded air rifle designed with the professional and recreational shooter in mind. Known for its reliability and innovative design, the R12 is suitable for various shooting applications, particularly excelling in both hunting and precision target shooting. With BSA’s commitment to quality and performance, this pre-owned air rifle promises exceptional value for discerning users.

As a .22 calibre air rifle, the R12 presents an ideal choice for small game hunting. The .22 pellets are renowned for their versatility, providing an optimal balance of power and precision. With velocities reaching up to 900 fps, the BSA R12 ensures sufficient power to effectively engage targets while maintaining impressive accuracy. This combination allows shooters to confidently take aim at a range of distances while achieving consistent results.

One of the standout features of the BSA R12 is its pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) power source. The PCP system offers a steady stream of power with minimal recoil, resulting in a smoother shooting experience compared to traditional spring-piston air rifles. Users will appreciate the consistent power delivery, which enables more precise shot placement and greater control during operation. The ability to handle multiple shots without the downtime of re-cocking is particularly beneficial in both competitive and hunting scenarios.

Weight plays a critical role in how manageable an air rifle is during extended shooting sessions, and the BSA R12 excels with its relatively lightweight design of approximately 3.0 kg. At an overall length of 1100 mm, the rifle strikes a balance between stability and ease of handling. The ergonomic synthetic stock further enhances comfort and allows for better control, especially crucial when aiming at moving targets or during longer hunting treks.

The adjustable trigger system adds another layer of customization that can greatly enhance shooting accuracy. This feature enables shooters to tailor the trigger pull to their preference, offering a comfortable and responsive feel that can improve shot execution. Whether you favor a lighter trigger pull or something with more resistance, the R12 allows you to align the rifle to fit your shooting style.

Safety is a paramount concern for any firearm user, and the BSA R12 is equipped with a manual safety catch, providing added reassurance during handling and storage. This feature ensures peace of mind during transport and allows users to focus solely on their shooting experience while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Delivery And RDF Information

An RFD transfer is a way of buying or transferring a gun to another part of the country safely and is a lawful requirement if purchasing from a shop or gun dealer in the UK.
Following the change in the mail order laws (2006 VCR Bill) we can send your purchase to an RFD of your choice or we have a network of registered Firearms dealers (RFD) throughout England, Scotland and Wales enabling us to deliver your rifle for you to collect at your convenience. The £35 postage and RFD charge covers all packaging and postage costs and transfer fees. We use a next-day delivery service allowing you to collect your new gun at your desired location. We only post on Monday-Thursday to avoid delays of your parcel at a distribution depot.
If you make a private purchase then a transfer is not required by law, but it can take the hassle  out of packing and sending via a courier.
An RFD transfer involves contacting a gun shop /dealer near to where you live. We then undertake the necessary  paperwork to ensure it’s all legal.  We pack the item safely and send it via Parcel Force using a secure next day AM delivery.
There is normally a charge from the receiving gun shop but if you select our £35 delivery charge then we take care of the postage and all transfer costs etc.
There are companies that offer a nationwide delivery service by their own drivers, this service can work for some people but the named person who made the purchase will need to be at home to sign for the item at the time of delivery. If you use an RFD service then it will be kept safely at the receiving dealer until you have a convenient time to arrange a Collection.
You will also have the opportunity to pick up any last minute items that you forgot to order, like pellets or Co2 canisters.
