The rifle comes equipped with an 11mm dovetail rail for scope mounting, allowing shooters to easily attach their preferred optics. While this pre-owned model doesn’t include a scope, it provides the flexibility for the new owner to select and fit their preferred sighting system.
Air Supply and Shot Count:
This pre-owned Theoben Rapid 7 Mk2 comes with a 400cc buddy bottle, which provides an excellent balance between air capacity and handling. The regulated action ensures efficient use of the air supply, typically delivering around 270 shots per fill in .22 calibre at 12 ft-lbs, for those seeking even more capacity, aftermarket carbon fibre bottles are available, offering up to 700cc capacity without significant weight increase
Trigger and Adjustability:
One of the standout features of the Theoben Rapid 7 Mk2 is its fully adjustable two-stage trigger mechanism. This allows shooters to fine-tune the trigger pull weight and break to their preferences, crucial for achieving optimal accuracy in both hunting and target shooting applications. The ability to customize the trigger contributes significantly to the rifle’s versatility and appeal to a wide range of shooters.
Stock and Ergonomics:
The walnut stock of the Rapid 7 Mk2 is designed with both aesthetics and ergonomics in mind. The right-handed configuration provides a comfortable cheek weld and proper eye alignment with mounted optics. The forend is designed to accommodate the buddy bottle while still providing a comfortable hold for offhand shooting.
Versatility and Applications:
The Theoben Rapid 7 Mk2 in .22 calibre excels in various airgun disciplines. Its accuracy and regulated action make it an excellent choice for small game hunting and pest control, where consistent power delivery is crucial for ethical shots.
