Description

Quick Intro/Overview:

The Daystate Huntsman Revere air rifle combines classic sporter styling with cutting-edge PCP technology. This latest iteration of Daystate’s iconic Huntsman line introduces a smooth sidelever action, HUMA-Air regulator, and an innovative magazine system, making it an ideal choice for both hunting and target shooting enthusiasts seeking precision and reliability.

Style:

The Huntsman Revere maintains the classic sporter aesthetics that have made the Huntsman series iconic. Its sleek walnut stock, crafted by Minelli in Italy, features a double-oiled finish with carefully positioned chequering for enhanced grip. The action and barrel sport a subtle matte black finish, reducing glare for hunters while maintaining a sophisticated appearance.

Design:

Daystate has prioritised both form and function in the Revere’s design. The sidelever action offers smooth, effortless cocking, while the new gate-loading magazine system allows for quick and easy pellet loading. The stock’s design cradles the action lower, improving handling and sight alignment. True left-hand versions are available, catering to southpaw shooters with a dedicated design rather than an ambidextrous compromise.

Construction and Quality:

The Huntsman Revere exemplifies Daystate’s commitment to quality. The action is precision-machined, while the stock is crafted from select walnut by renowned Italian manufacturer Minelli. The inclusion of the HUMA-Air regulator and match-grade barrel ensures consistent performance. Daystate’s attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the smooth operation of the sidelever to the crisp break of the adjustable trigger.

Performance:

The Revere delivers exceptional accuracy and consistency across all calibres. In.22 calibre, sub-12 ft-lb models achieve around 30 ft-lbs, while FAC versions can reach up to 40 ft-lbs in.25 calibre. The HUMA-Air regulator ensures shot-to-shot consistency, while the match-grade barrel provides excellent accuracy. The two-stage adjustable trigger breaks cleanly at around 1lb 2oz, contributing to the rifle’s overall precision.

Versatility:

With multiple calibre options and power levels, the Huntsman Revere adapts to various shooting disciplines. It excels in hunting scenarios, from small game to pest control, while also performing admirably in target shooting competitions. The interchangeable magazine and single-shot tray cater to different shooting preferences, while the range of power options allows users to comply with local regulations or opt for increased power where permitted.

Maintenance and Longevity:

The Huntsman Revere is designed for long-term reliability with minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning and lubrication of the barrel and action are recommended. The high-quality components and Daystate’s reputation for durability suggest a long service life. While specific warranty information should be confirmed with the retailer, Daystate is known for standing behind their products with excellent customer support.

Miscellaneous or Additional Information:

The Revere comes with both a multi-shot magazine and a single-shot loading tray. A fill probe is included for charging the air cylinder. Optional accessories include a compact moderator for further noise reduction and various stock options for customisation.

Conclusion:

The Daystate Huntsman Revere represents the pinnacle of PCP air rifle technology wrapped in a classic sporter package. Its combination of accuracy, power, and ease of use makes it an excellent choice for serious airgun enthusiasts. Whether you’re a hunter, target shooter, or collector, the Revere offers the performance and quality to meet your needs. Experience the legacy of the Huntsman series elevated to new heights with the Revere.
