Description

Quick Intro/Overview:

The AirMaks Arms Krait Lite Extra High Power (XHP) is a cutting-edge PCP air rifle designed for shooters who demand maximum power and performance. This rifle combines extreme power output with the lightweight handling characteristics of the Krait Lite series, making it ideal for long-range shooting and big-bore applications.

Style:

The AirMaks Arms Krait Lite XHP maintains the sleek, elongated design of the Krait Lite series while incorporating features necessary for extra high-power performance. Its streamlined profile balances the need for a larger air reservoir with the desire for manageable weight. The rifle is available with either a synthetic or walnut stock, offering a choice between modern utility and classic aesthetics.

Design:

The Krait Lite XHP’s design prioritizes power delivery and long-range accuracy while maintaining user comfort. The adjustable stock, butt-pad, and cheek-piece allow for a customized fit, crucial for managing the increased recoil of an extra high-power air rifle. The side lever cocking mechanism, which can be switched between right and left sides, provides fast follow-up shots despite the higher power output

Construction and Quality:

The AirMaks Arms Krait Lite XHP is built with enhanced components to handle the stresses of extra high-power operation. The barrel, valve system, and internal mechanisms are all upgraded to ensure reliability and longevity. Despite the focus on power, the rifle maintains the quality construction and attention to detail expected from the AirMaks brand.

Performance:

The Krait Lite XHP delivers exceptional power output, significantly higher than standard PCP air rifles. While specific energy figures are not provided, it’s designed to be at the top end of commercially available air rifles in terms of power. The regulated action ensures this high power is delivered consistently, shot after shot, contributing to excellent accuracy even at extended ranges.

Versatility:

This air rifle is specialized for high-power applications but remains versatile within that niche. It’s suitable for extreme long-range target shooting, big-bore competitions, and large game hunting where legal. The adjustable power system allows users to tune the rifle for different applications or to comply with local regulations.

Maintenance and Longevity:

The AirMaks Arms Krait Lite XHP requires more attentive maintenance than lower-powered air rifles due to its high-performance nature. Regular cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of key components are essential to maintain optimal performance and longevity. While specific warranty information is not provided, AirMaks Arms likely offers support for this premium model.

Miscellaneous or Additional Information:

The Krait Lite XHP may require special filling equipment due to its high operating pressure. It’s designed with a standard 1/2″ UNF threaded muzzle for attaching moderators or silencers, which can be particularly useful given the increased muzzle report of this high-power rifle.

Conclusion:

The AirMaks Arms Krait Lite Extra High Power (XHP) represents the pinnacle of PCP air rifle performance, offering extreme power in a relatively lightweight package. For shooters seeking the ultimate in air rifle power and long-range capability, the Krait Lite XHP delivers uncompromising performance. Whether you’re an extreme long-range enthusiast, a big-bore air rifle aficionado, or a hunter requiring maximum power, this rifle is engineered to meet and exceed your expectations.
