Quick Intro/Overview:

The Air Arms TX200 HC (Hunter Carbine) is a refined version of the legendary TX200, offering the same exceptional accuracy and performance in a more compact package. This spring-piston air rifle combines precision engineering with a hunter-friendly design, making it ideal for both field use and target shooting.

Style:

The TX200 HC boasts a classic sporter-style aesthetic with a modern twist. Available in elegant walnut or beech stocks, the rifle combines traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge engineering. The shortened barrel and overall length create a well-balanced and visually appealing firearm that’s perfect for field use.

Design:

The TX200 HC’s design prioritizes accuracy, manoeuvrability, and user comfort. The under-lever cocking mechanism ensures a fixed barrel for improved accuracy, while the automatic safety and anti-bear trap device provide enhanced user safety. The built-in moderator reduces muzzle noise, making it ideal for hunting scenarios. The carbine design offers improved handling in tight spaces or from hunting blinds.

Construction and Quality:

The TX200 HC is built to exacting standards in Air Arms’ factory in East Sussex, England. The action is precision-engineered for reliability and longevity, while the stocks showcase superior woodworking. The blued metal finish is of high quality, contributing to the rifle’s durability and aesthetic appeal.

Performance:

The TX200 HC delivers exceptional accuracy and consistency, thanks to its match-grade Lothar Walther barrel and refined action. The carbine design doesn’t compromise on power, still delivering up to 11+ ft-lbs of muzzle energy. The built-in moderator ensures quiet operation, making it ideal for hunting scenarios where stealth is crucial.

Versatility:

The TX200 HC excels in both hunting and target shooting applications. Its compact design makes it perfect for field use, while its accuracy and smooth shooting characteristics make it equally suitable for competition shooting. The ability to fit an additional silencer further enhances its versatility.

Maintenance and Longevity:

The TX200 HC requires minimal maintenance, with occasional cleaning and lubrication ensuring optimal performance. The robust construction and quality components contribute to a long service life, backed by Air Arms’ reputation for customer support and a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Miscellaneous or Additional Information:

Air Arms has fitted the TX200 HC Mk3 with a softer spring, making the rifle easier to cock and control while maintaining the same power output. This feature contributes to improved shot-to-shot consistency and user comfort.

Conclusion:

The Air Arms TX200 HC represents the perfect blend of the legendary TX200’s performance with enhanced field-ready features. Whether you’re a serious hunter, a competitive shooter, or an airgun enthusiast seeking top-tier quality, the TX200 HC delivers exceptional accuracy, power, and handling in a compact package. An RFD transfer is a way of buying or transferring a gun to another part of the country safely and is a lawful requirement if purchasing from a shop or gun dealer in the UK.

Following the change in the mail order laws (2006 VCR Bill) we can send your purchase to an RFD of your choice or we have a network of registered Firearms dealers (RFD) throughout England, Scotland and Wales enabling us to deliver your rifle for you to collect at your convenience. The £35 postage and RFD charge covers all packaging and postage costs and transfer fees. We use a next-day delivery service allowing you to collect your new gun at your desired location. We only post on Monday-Thursday to avoid delays of your parcel at a distribution depot.

If you make a private purchase then a transfer is not required by law, but it can take the hassle  out of packing and sending via a courier.

An RFD transfer involves contacting a gun shop /dealer near to where you live. We then undertake the necessary  paperwork to ensure it’s all legal.  We pack the item safely and send it via Parcel Force using a secure next day AM delivery.

There is normally a charge from the receiving gun shop but if you select our £35 delivery charge then we take care of the postage and all transfer costs etc.

There are companies that offer a nationwide delivery service by their own drivers, this service can work for some people but the named person who made the purchase will need to be at home to sign for the item at the time of delivery. If you use an RFD service then it will be kept safely at the receiving dealer until you have a convenient time to arrange a Collection.

You will also have the opportunity to pick up any last minute items that you forgot to order, like pellets or Co2 canisters.
