This air rifle, offered in excellent condition and complete with a 3-month warranty, is highly regarded for its accuracy and ease of use. With its combination of classic design and efficient engineering, the BSA METEOR is an excellent choice for beginner and experienced shooters alike.

The BSA METEOR is one of the most iconic air rifles in the British market, well-known for its robust construction and reliable performance. Its status as a pre-owned rifle only adds to its appeal, as many enthusiasts appreciate vintage models for their quality and performance. This particular model has been well-maintained and is offered in excellent condition, setting an ideal opportunity for collectors and users looking for a dependable airgun.

The rifle utilizes a break barrel design, which is simple to operate. Shooters can quickly load and fire without complicated mechanisms, making this air rifle user-friendly—perfect for both novices and seasoned marksmen. The .177 calibre adds versatility, enabling effective shooting for target practice as well as small pest control. The robust design of the METEOR ensures good accuracy, making it suitable for various shooting applications.

With the ability to reach velocities of up to 800 fps, the BSA METEOR delivers sufficient power to take down small game humanely and accurately. This velocity is achieved thanks to its quality spring-piston system, which ensures consistency and reliability with each shot fired. The air rifle’s performance makes it an ideal choice for various activities, from recreational plinking to serious hunting.

Weighing approximately 2.5 kg, the METEOR is lightweight, allowing for easy handling and maneuverability. With an overall length of 1050 mm, it strikes a balance between stability and portability, making it convenient to carry during extended shooting sessions. This lightweight nature is particularly beneficial for young or beginner shooters who may prefer a rifle that doesn’t overwhelm them physically.

The rifle is designed with precision in mind, featuring open sights that include an adjustable rear sight. This enables shooters to improve their aim based on different distances and shooting conditions. The flexibility provided by the adjustable sight is highly beneficial, especially when transitioning between target shooting scenarios and hunting applications. This adaptability enhances the overall shooting experience and increases the likelihood of hitting the target.

Aesthetically, the BSA METEOR features a high-quality wooden stock that not only provides durability but also offers comfort for extended shooting. The ambidextrous design ensures that the rifle is suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters, making it an inclusive option for a wider range of users. The ergonomic design promotes a natural shooting stance and contributes to overall handling, enabling better control and comfort during use.

Delivery And RDF Information

An RFD transfer is a way of buying or transferring a gun to another part of the country safely and is a lawful requirement if purchasing from a shop or gun dealer in the UK.
Following the change in the mail order laws (2006 VCR Bill) we can send your purchase to an RFD of your choice or we have a network of registered Firearms dealers (RFD) throughout England, Scotland and Wales enabling us to deliver your rifle for you to collect at your convenience. The £35 postage and RFD charge covers all packaging and postage costs and transfer fees. We use a next-day delivery service allowing you to collect your new gun at your desired location. We only post on Monday-Thursday to avoid delays of your parcel at a distribution depot.
If you make a private purchase then a transfer is not required by law, but it can take the hassle  out of packing and sending via a courier.
An RFD transfer involves contacting a gun shop /dealer near to where you live. We then undertake the necessary  paperwork to ensure it’s all legal.  We pack the item safely and send it via Parcel Force using a secure next day AM delivery.
There is normally a charge from the receiving gun shop but if you select our £35 delivery charge then we take care of the postage and all transfer costs etc.
There are companies that offer a nationwide delivery service by their own drivers, this service can work for some people but the named person who made the purchase will need to be at home to sign for the item at the time of delivery. If you use an RFD service then it will be kept safely at the receiving dealer until you have a convenient time to arrange a Collection.
You will also have the opportunity to pick up any last minute items that you forgot to order, like pellets or Co2 canisters.
